1. Apply foundation to the eyelid this will minimize any imperfections and help your eye makeup stay on longer. Use your pinky or ring finger to apply foundation and work your way inward to avoid pulling on the skin.
2. Apply a concealer one shade lighter then your foundation to the eye lids and under the eyes use a make up sponge to gently blend in.
3. Apply a medium to dark shade of your desired color and sweep it across the base of the lash line from inner to outer corner. Concentrate on the outer corner when applying your shadow for the smokey effect.
4. Apply a light shimmery shade below the brow bone and blend in with the other shadows. You always want your colors to blend into one another.
5. Apply a liner of a color that compliments your eye shadow. Apply the liner to the eyelid right above the lash line and left near outer corners. Blend in the liner with a brush. Start out the outer corner of the lower id and work your way inward.
6. Apply a volumizing and lash extending mascara in black. Apply from the root of the eyelash and work your brush outward and upward to apply your mascara. After your second coat has dried comb with a eyebrow brush to remove any clumping. Apply mascara to the lower lid sparingly to add some color and length.
7. Groom your eyebrows by combing them, you may also apply an brow gel that is available in clear or tinted and apply that to the eyebrows and then comb.
8. Apply the shimmery shade of shadow that you used under the brow bone and apply it under your eyes, not too much just a little to highlight. Try using a fluffy blush brush for this.
